Description Maalox Plus Chewable Tablets provide fast, effective and long-lasting relief from the symptoms of Indigestion (dyspepsia), Heartburn and Wind (flatulence). Maalox Plus Chewable Tablets contain three different ingredients: 2 antacids which work by lowering the amount of acid in your stomach. In addition to an anti-foaming agent to help remove gas from your stomach. Pleasant Lemon flavour. DOSAGE: For Oral use. Adults and children over 12 years: Take one or two tablets 4 times each day, 20 minutes to one hour after meals and at bedtime or as required. Chew the tablets well before swallowing. Children under 12 years: Not recommended. IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT MAALOX PLUS CHEWABLE TABLETS: Always talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine during pregnancy, if you are taking any other prescription medications, regular medicines or receiving regular treatment. Do not take this medicine for prolonged periods as it may mask more serious diseases such as stomach ulcers or stomach cancer. If symptoms persist after 7 days consult your doctor. Each chewable tablet contains 200mg of hydrated aluminium oxide, 200mg of magnesium hydroxide and 25mg of dimeticone (as simeticone).
