Description Rennie Deflatine works by gently dispersing the bubbles of gas that cause the embarrassing symptoms of trapped wind, such as bloating, gurgling and flatulence. Rennie Deflatine has been formulated with simeticone, a highly effective ingredient in treating trapped wind which works gently on trapped air bubbles to lessen embarrassment. This product also has Rennie’s antacid properties to neutralise the excess acid which causes symptoms of indigestion and heartburn. Rennie is suitable for use in pregnancy or when breastfeeding if taken as instructed. However, if you are pregnant always talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine. DOSAGE: For Oral use. Adults over 18 years old: Take one or two tablets, up to 3-4 times per day. Chew the tablets well before swallowing. Do not exceed the stated dose of a maximum of eleven tablets a day. Children under 18 years: Not recommended. IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT RENNIE DEFLATINE CHEWABLE TABLETS: Always talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine during pregnancy, if you are taking any other prescription medications, regular medicines or receiving regular treatment. Please do not take this medicine for prolonged periods as it may mask more serious diseases such as stomach ulcers or stomach cancer. If symptoms persist after 7 days consult your doctor. Each chewable tablet contains calcium carbonate 680mg, heavy magnesium carbonate 80mg and simeticone 25mg amongst other ingredients – please see the leaflet for more information.
