75cl bottle. Chateau le Bourdieu Vertheuil, Haut-Medoc Cru Bourgeois. 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc & 5% Petit Verdot. This is a nice example of how good the 2010 vintage was in Bordeaux, still going strong and showing intact maturity. Pretty violet notes backed by crushed blackcurrants on the nose, its a full bodied wine with good concentration of fleshy dark fruit flavours. There is still a decent grip of tannin and a fair amount of acidity left to keep things in check.
