Reflects 7.8g/l of acid and a very low pH of 2.8. This packs a punch that will always be part of a special riesling, bred and built to develop over a 20-year span, its minerally acidity wrapped around citrus fruit.” Natalie Maclean 92/100 Riesling from Australia’s Eden Valley. 103 year old vines. An organic vineyard and hand picked from a very low yield on March 3rd. Whole bunch pressing is used here with no filtering or fining.Pale lemon green colour with pronounced aromas of lemon-lime, lime zest, green apple, rubber, petrol, stony minerality and a slight floral blossom note. Flavours are juicy with lime, citrus, crisp Granny Smith apple, white grapefruit, wet stone and steely minerals. Dry (2g/L) with high acidity and a light body and a long finish. Youthful and bright.Mouthwatering, crisp and refreshing. Pair soundly with seafood, shellfish and fried calamari.
