75cl bottle. Quite simply – brilliant. This is extremely well made Chardonnay from a winery that specialises in Burgundian grape varieties. Great value for money as always. The fruit is largely sourced from vineyards in the Northern reaches of the Yarra Valley. A terrific mild season with a good balance of flavour, texture and acidity. Quite fine and composed. Pale in colour with a slight green edge. Flint, citrus and floral notes on the nose. The palate is fresh and lively, with characters of lemon and lime balanced by a gently textured palate. Savoury notes finish the palate and give the wine nice length and depth of varietal character.
