Region : South Africa Grape : Chenin Blanc Type : White Wine ABV : 12% Rating Vivino 3.7 CHENIN BLANC Grapes were harvested between 21° – 23°B from a selection of vineyards. Gentle pressing followed by using a Pneumatic bag press to capture the delicate fruit component. The wine was made reductively to prevent any oxidation and to ensure that natural flavours of the grapes could be retained. Fermentation happened slowly in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks for 18 days at 13°C. Sarah’s Creek Chenin Blanc has a straw coloured tinge with a floral nose and good acidic balance. A light bodied wine showcasing attractive rounded fruit of apples and pears.
