Sierra Cantabria Blanco – Albarino/Sauvignon blanc

The Sierra Cantabria blanco – Albarino/Sauvignon blanc is made from a blend of grape varieties chosen through years of refinement. These include Sauvignon Blanc (30%), Viura (20%), Tempranillo Blanco (36%), Malvasía (7%), and Maturana (7%). The proprietary vineyards are located in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, with the surrounding terroir shining through in this light fine white wine. Maceration takes place over 8 hours of cold soaking, after which the grapes are fermented in French oak barrels before being transferred to stainless steel. Temperatures are closely monitored and controlled during this time. Sierra Canatbria Blanc is extremely fresh, vibrant and fruity. The flavours are that of summer fruits combined with spring flowers. Due to the 2 month vinification inside oak barrels, this wine has some juiciness on the palate that harmonises with the fresh fruit flavours. Food pairings: fish or other seafood. Can be enjoyed on its own. Recommended drinking temperature: 8°C.
