Their vineyards sit at high altitude, often over 300-400 metres, on old Gamay vines planted 40–70 years ago or more. The “Perréon Power” Pet’ Nat is a lively collaboration with nearby colleagues and is made in minimal-intervention style, capturing the raw energy of the site. For this Petillant Naturel (Pet’ Nat), the 2024 Gamay grapes were picked early to retain freshness, fermented using native yeasts and bottled before secondary fermentation completed, so the fizz remains naturally gentle and the wine alive with texture. No dosage, minimal sulphur and big emphasis on purity and site expression. The result is a Pet’ Nat that’s as rugged and steep-sited as the vineyards themselves. Aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry, wet granite and a hint of pét-nats’ signature yeasty bread crust draw you in. On the palate it’s brisk yet creamy: red berry fruits meet chalky minerality and sprightly fizz, finished with wild herbs and a fine, almost savoury edge. The tannins are light, acidity high: a pét-nat with precision, energy and joyous drive.
