Description Gaviscon Liquid brings fast, soothing and long-lasting relief from the symptoms of gastro-oesophageal reflux such as acid regurgitation, heartburn and indigestion. Following meals or during pregnancy, and in patients with symptoms related to oesophagitis. Gaviscon Liquid works in 2 ways: a combination of two antacids neutralises excess stomach acid, and an alginate forms a protective layer that floats on top of the stomach contents. This layer prevents reflux and keeps the stomach contents away from the lining of the food pipe to relieve the symptoms of heartburn and indigestion. Suitable for use during pregnancy or breast-feeding. Original Aniseed Flavour. DOSAGE: For Oral use. Adults and children over 12 years: Take 10-20 ml (two to four 5 ml spoonfuls) after meals and at bedtime. Children 6-12 years: Take 5-10ml (one to two 5ml spoonfuls) after meals and at bedtime Not for use in children of 6 years or under.
