This Meursault – Burgundy Chardonnay is a bold Burgundy wine produced by the prestigious Bouzereau family. They have been growing vines in Meursault for nine generations, dating their practices back to the 18th century. The small area of vines are cultivated according to the principles of la ‘Lutte Raisonnée’ – sustainable farming. It is the belief of the winemakers in this region that terroir should be allowed to shine through fine wine through minimal intervention. This wine is emblematic of the Meursault style, displaying a regal gold-green colour. In the mouth it is well-balanced with rich, bold flavours of orchard fruits and a firm minerality. You will also notice pleasing notes of white fruits. The nose is fine and aromatic, featuring riper fruit and the fragrance of toasted nuts. Finally, the finish comes as mellow and dry. This is a white wine well suited to any significant occasion or event. Grape: 100% Chardonnay.
