This 6 bottle case of 2018 Sierra Cantabria Reserva Unica – Tempranillo is a fine red wine befitting its single terroir origin. Made from 97% Tempranillo and 3% Graciano variety grapes, this Rioja has a unique character that’s influenced by the local climate, soil, and viticulture practices. The proprietary vineyards are located in San Vicente de la Sonsierra (La Rioja). Elaboration follows a traditional technique where grapes are de-stemmed before undergoing malolactic fermentation in oak. The wine is aged for 24 months in French oak Bordelaise barrels (60 %) and American oak Bordelaise barrels (40 %). Tasting Notes: Expressive aromas of redcurrant, cherry, and liquorice. Juicy in the mouth, with red fruit flavours mixed with toasty vanilla and underlying mineral notes. Features a penetrating acidity that extends the long, spicy, floral-dominated finish. Appearance: Bright ruby red. Recommended drinking temperature: 16-18ºC
