This Chablis Trebechet – Burgundy Chardonnay is a fine Burgundy white wine made from 100% Chardonnay grapes. It features luxurious fruit flavours of green apple and lemons mixed with butter and a good minerality. The latter aspect is largely due to the Jurassic era clay and limestone soil that also contains many oyster deposits. The wine appears a warm yellow-gold in the glass with aromas of citrus and minerals immediately apparent when pouring. The nose is complex, featuring apples, mushrooms, lime, cut hay, and undergrowth. The finish is delicate and long, creating a regal drinking experience. Food pairings: seafood, fish sauces, poultry and veal. Recommended serving temperature: 10-14°C Production area: France / Northern Burgundy, Chablis.
